We understand finding a new salon
can be overwhelming, so we want to take all the guess work out of your first visit.
First, we want you to know that from the
moment you contact us, you and your hair will be taken care of.
First step is choosing a stylist that fits your needs.
We hope the information on the "Choose Your Stylist" page will help you find a perfect fit, but if not, please call and talk to our Salon Concierge. (618-589-1880) They will help you find the stylist that fits your needs.
NOTE: Please book a Client Consultation with your service, if this is your first time with this stylist.
This will trigger a Digital Consultation Form to be sent by email for you to fill out, so your stylist can prepare for your visit.
After you have picked one of our wonderful stylists (Really you can't go wrong) and requested your appointment.
Your chosen stylist will review your "Digital Consultation Form" and your booking request.
They will then confirm or alter your reservation so it makes the most sense for your hair, based on the information you provided in your Digital Consultation Form and finally accept your appointment for the services you have reserved.
Your reservation will be confirmed by text and email depending on how you have set up your Vagaro account or the information given when booking.
Keep in mind if you forgo our emails or texts for your appointments this will also include all email or text communications.
So you can't blame us if you don't know about the cool stuff.
You will also receive a confirmation 72 hours before your visit and a reminder 2 hours before your visit.
If you have not confirmed by text or email we will call to confirm
2 days before, this allows plenty of time to cancel before the deadline.
Please confirm your appointment and be sure to follow the cancellation/rescheduling policy we have in place.
We Can't Wait To Meet You!
When the day of your visit arrives, please bring inspirational photos. We love to see examples of your disliked and loved looks. When you arrive you will find us in the heart of historic downtown O'Fallon, IL across from the local Chamber of Commerce which looks like an old train station.
We are surrounded by a lot of great restaurants, so if your appointment time is around lunch time you may find parking is a little tight but we promise it will be worth it. Parking is free and there are no time limits no matter what the signs may say.
Refinery Salon is two building so we have two front doors, please enter under the logo sign and through the black door.
The Big Day!
After entering through the black door, you'll be in what we call our Merchant Parlor. It's the cutest little shop in the area, not that we are bias or anything. Now before you start shopping please check in with our Salon Concierge. They will get you situated and answer any questions you may have. Arriving early to your scheduled appointment will give you time to enjoy a beverage, or find those inspiration photos you saved somewhere in your camera roll.

After being greeted by your stylist you will have 15 min conversation about your hair dreams and worst nightmares, hair history, hair goals, your lifestyle. After we have a clear vision of your goals for today's appointment, your stylist will walk you through what's obtainable today and in future services, budget & when to schedule your next maintenance appointment. Once we have a plan in place, we can get to work.

We will finish our service by recommending at-home styling care to recreate and maintain your look at home, and we will set you up for your next appointment. You can expect a follow up e-mail within the week to ensure that your style is just as expected and we will eagerly await your next visit.
